At blockimmo Michael is responsible for the core development of the DApp and oversees every aspect of our technology. He leads the development team and architects every component of our software stack, implementing the smart contracts and backend. Michael is an experienced software engineer coming from a background in data engineering and machine learning. Prior to founding Waya.ai, he was a software engineer at Nordic Semiconductor and Intel, graduating with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) from the University of Illinois (UIUC). Now he focuses on developing software solutions and products built on blockchain technologies - delivering solutions that not only meet spec, but are pragmatic, simple, and robust.
Jesse is a creative front-end developer with extensive experience in user-interface and user-experience design. Before joining our team, Jesse was the Chief of Design at Muzeek, a senior Front-end Developer at a well-known freelance platform and a WordPress Elite author on themeforest.net. His solo themeforest work has generated over a quarter million dollars in sales from more than 4,800 customers; gathering a cult following spanning across dozens of countries.
Bastiaan is the founder of blockimmo and he manages all aspects of the company’s operations. Bastiaan is an entrepreneur and investor based in Zug, Switzerland. He has previously started, built and sold companies within the IT and real estate industries, where he has more than 15 years of experience. In his last positions, he was the founding partner and management member of renowned (global) serviced apartment companies.

You will be responsible for our frontend development. Currently, this includes our real estate platform (decentralized application) and company website. Also, you will be defining and implementing clean, simple user interfaces and experiences and working closely with our designers to bring mockups to life!
You will be working closely with all members of the Development Team to create consistent brand materials across all digital channels. You will be crafting and polishing user experiences and interfaces such as mock-ups of future product features, ad campaigns, and high-impact media.
You will plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes. You will recruit and train personnel and allocate responsibilities and office space.
You will be organizing the office and assisting associates to optimize processes. Also you will handle administrative requests and queries from senior managers.
You will be the main point of contact for our (outsourcing) partners (in the area of Fund Management, Marketing & PR, Legal and Brokerage). These partners you will manage, control and reconcile, ensuring all assigned services remains compliant with the agreed terms.
You will be mainly responsible for transaction due diligence - including property valuation, lender diligence, real estate M&A diligence, real estate asset diligence, transaction closing allocation. Also, you will manage, monitor and reconciliation of our outsourcing partners (in the area of property management, financial reporting, and property appraisal management).
You will be working closely with our MD, as the Finance Director you will not only be an exceptional accountant and hands-on with company finances but you will also be commercially aware, advising on the best path of growth for the business.
You will be heavily involved in the day to day running of the company accounts, with the responsibility of making observations of the financial state of the organization. You will be organized, efficient and skilled at keeping track of the various types of spending by the company. The position involves using relevant accountancy software and you will be tasked with managing the balancing of accounts.
You will be developing strong relationships with customers who wish to sell their real estate, connecting them with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing the property sale. You will also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities within the real estate market. This position may require occasional travel.

Today blockimmo announced its public vulnerability reward program designed to expand collaboration with white-hat hackers who improve the security of the blockimmo platform. The program is one of the first of its kind to be announced by a blockchain-powered platform.
In August 2018 blockimmo commissioned leading blockchain cybersecurity firm Hosho to conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessment on their ÐApp.

When a property is tokenized its rights and ownership are encapsulated in an ERC20 token (each property gets its own, independent / unique token). Supply is fixed (every single (commercial) property on the blockimmo platform is represented by 1,000,000 tokens — the token name is the property’s eGrid, and the token symbol is the property’s grundstück).
